Taylor,
The Lilly Library catalog was available for $15 ppd. a while back. It
is 72 pages and includes 137 of the items from the Karanovich collection.
(His collection numbers some 1,500 Twain items). Among the items
listed are Mark Twain's Desk, his notebook for 1905 (the only one in
the hands of a private collector), the Guest Book from Stormfield,
Mark Twain's Bristol writing board, letters and manuscripts, and
inscribed or annotated books from Twain's library.

Nick Karanovich lectured in Hartford in April at the "Collecting Mark
Twain" symposium and displayed many of his treasures, which he
transported in a suitcase belonging to Clara Clemens Sammossoud.
He also related how he acquired and preserved the volatile nitrate
negatives that were published in OVERLAND WITH MARK TWAIN earlier
this year by Elmira College.

The Lilly Library may still have copies of the exhibit catalog (it
was printed in an edition of 750).

The address is Lilly Library
