Folks;

I apologize for the multiple messages you may have received. I am
trying to master a new e-mail software, and it has a mind of its own.
It is highly imaginative. It will often do strange and wonderful things
with my e-mail, for no apparent reason. This software should perhaps
enroll in one of our leading creative writing programs. We can only
await the hereafter to imagine what Mark Twain might have to say of such
things.

In any case, I remain eternally hopeful that the electronic fates have
smiled upon my genuinely benign efforts and have agreed to deliver to
one and all the multiply-mentioned call for papers: if not, I have
decided hereafter not to give a darn.

best to you, --HB
