It's been a few years, and the details are now fuzzy, but I was unconvinced
[the kindest word I can muster] by the provenance at the time.

On the subject of music and dicey provenances, there was a juke box
auctioned a few years ago in Waco, Texas, advertised as Mark Twain's
favorite juke box, the one he always played when he visited Waco. Yee-Hah!
