Friends gave me the Decemer 22 & 29, 2008 copy of the New Yorker.  On the
cover
is said : "Mark Twain; The good part about being dead."  The table of
contents says, "Mark Twain; page 50; American Notes;  The Privilege of the
Grave."  On page 12,without naming the contributor, the note says "Mark
Twain....died in 1910.  'Who Is Mark Twain,' a collection of previously
unpublished writing, comes out in April.  He wrote the piece in 1905."  The
privilege, it seems, is free speech.
