This is to remind Forum members that the C-SPAN 2 broadcast of the
Elmira conference is scheduled for tonight, January 24. Here is the
original posting:

Portions of the 1997 State of Mark Twain Studies Conference,
organized by the Elmira College Center for Mark Twain Studies, will air on
Saturday, January 24, 1998 on C-SPAN 2 beginning at 8 p.m. EST. The
panels, "The Legacies of Mark Twain" and "Mark Twain's Politics," will
appear on C-SPAN 2's About Books. The featured panels were recorded live
on the last day of the three day international quadrennial conference. The
taped panels will be replayed later that same day at 11 p.m. EST, again on
C-SPAN 2.
