"All you need in life is ignorance and confidence.  Then success is
assured."  Twain is so quoted in  New Dictionary of Quotations, H.L.
Menecken, editor (Knopf 1942 reprinted through 1982)  The quote is "from a
letter to Mrs. Foote 12-2-1887.  Does anyone know who Mrs. Foote might be?
