What a great article

I hope this version of the URL will not be truncated:
https://www.newyorker.com/books/page-turner/the-complicated-backstory-to-a-new-childrens-book-by-mark-twain

Interesting to learn of what some of the conflicts are

I have a 10-year-old son and had been looking forward to trying out this
'new' story on him when it is published, despite the warnings given by
Kevin MacD's review not long ago

I knew right away from Kevin's review that this edition would not be the
ultimate one when I learned it did not reproduce the small number of MS
pages, and that it deviated from John Bird's suggested ending

I hope we might see a better edition from John & MTP one day?! :)
