Ps -- Mark's outstanding presentation on Horton Foote's The Shape of the
River, and the film footage of the actor discovering the dead Jean in the
bathtub, shown at the plenary session, is one of the most astonishing and
memorable moments from any Twain conference I have ever encountered. Just
writing about it right now sends chills up my spine --

not bad for a "forgotten," made-for-TV film that was rediscovered, thanks to
Mark's efforts! Keep those folks like Mark Dawidziak comin'!

I am very sorry he, nor anyone else, recalls the folksy jam sessions late
into the night. . . .
