The 1901 edition was printed on two kinds of handmade watermarked paper:
MBM and Alexandra

The facsimile reprints of 1916 and 1930 were printed on several papers: Old
Stratford., Fabriano, and unwatermarked paper. It is possible other papers
were also used on the reprints.

The 1916 reprint is taller than the 1901 edition but I have seen copies
trimmed down with the intent to pass them off as 1901 originals. The 1930
reprint is about the same size as the 1901 edition.

The bindings for both the 1901 edition and the reprints vary widely.

All of this is to say that the watermarks are the key --not the height of
the sheets or the style of binding.
