        For those who are intersted in stories having SLC as a character,
I'd like to direct your attention to:

        October 1993 issue of Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine.  The cover
story, "Down the River" by R. Garcia y Robertson is quite good and SLC plays
a critical part.  For those folks making the trip, Jake and Peg, the main
characters, have been featured in earlier issues.
