Apparently Terrell sees no need to remain silent about what he
considers the whitewashing of Hannibal. I appreciate his candor on
the matter.

I think we should be careful about making rules that call for
self-censorship in a forum meant for the exchange of opinions.
Wouldn't it be better to challenge and attempt to refute claims
rather than issue an edict requesting we don't go too far? Wouldn't
that be a better use of the forum?

If Disney buys into the Hartford operation I hope that we complain
long and bitterly in this forum. If the deal goes down, I hope we
test how well Disney and the Hartford front office withstand the
assault of ridicule. Why silently consent not to criticize elements
of the Twain tourist industry and miss a chance to savage a worthy
target? I see no reason to spare the purported family entertainment
company that is always happy to allow Michael Jackson to have the run
of its theme parks. Twain wrote with prescient eloquence concerning
child abuse. How soon before Jackson is including some
Disney-traumatized Twaintron in a video that is part of the Hartford
tour? Poor Huck!
