I received an answer to this question before, but forgot what it was, and can't locate where I made note of it; if memory serves to at least that extent, Kent Rasmussen answered it, but I wouldn't bet my bottom teeth on it.
Sorry, but here goes again: Which version of the Bible was Twain probably most familiar with, especially in his "formative years"?
