The white suit we have at the Mark Twain Birthplace Museum has the label
"Men's Store -- John Wanamaker -- Made to Order."  John Wanamaker was a
department store owner depicted in a Puck cartoon (1889) entitled "The
Marvel of Piety."   Hope that is some help.
