There is some mention of Barnum in Paine's Biography.  At one point I
remember Twain being interested in Barnum's book and at the point I am
transcribing now,  Barnum appears to have constantly wanted Twain to help in
making "The Greatest Show On Earth" more popular --- possibly being an
annoyance to Twain but I am not sure of that.
