Not to be obvious, but it all brings up the arguments for cultural literary
theory hanging around for a little while more, doesn't it? The nuances,
implications, shadings, etc. in Twain are impossible to capture in a film.
Or maybe the question is whether Disney was even trying.

At least, in the book, the reader has a choice of the level with which he
wants to read it--without the choice being made for him.
