The Warner Brothers Cartoon, _A Connecticut Rabbit in King ARthur's Court_
strikes me as the only film version of _Yankee_ worth seeing. It captures
the anarchic violence and the satire of feudalism, and has no schmaltz a
la Bing Crosby.
