The title was originally The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County
and was later changed. Certain textbooks are now trying to rectify the
matter by going back to Twain's original title. Who changed it to
"celebrated" and why I do not know. Maybe it has to do with the
National Frog Jumping Contest that is held there each year? Anybody
knows?
