The September issue of _Firsts_ magazine has arrived and completes the
two-part series written by Kevin MacDonnell. Like the first _Firsts,_ this
is a magnificent issue and worth the trouble to track down. This issue
contains the following:

Collecting Mark Twain

Huck Finn Among the Issue-Mongers

Some New Paths in Twain-Collecting

A Mark Twain Reference Shelf

Also in this issue: Malcolm Bell's "A Collector's Guide to Publishers," a
brief article about Charles L. Webster and Company and "Books Into Film: The
Prince and the Pauper," details various film treatments of the book, with
special emphasis on the 1937 version starring Errol Flynn.

Both the July/August (Mark Twain I) and the September (Mark Twain II)
numbers are listed as "back issues" and are available at $5.50 each, plus a
shipping charge of $4.00 (to ship the 2 issues together). The offer is
"good until October 31, 1998." Fax or phone orders accepted with MasterCard
or Visa, otherwise send check or money order to the address below. Office
hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mountain Time. (A Forum member reports that she
was actually able to get through by phone.)
