Folks; the Dec. issue of Harper's contains a heretorfore unpublished letter
by MT that is of some interest -- it is in response to questions about
"Hadleyburg" story, which by the way was published originally in Harper's
exactly 110 years ago this month.

The letter is excerpted from Michael Shelden's brand new biography of the
final years,  MT: MAN IN WHITE; which will appear next month from Random
House.
