Friends:

I am preparing a lecture on Twain's literary responses to women, and in one
section I focus on his views of women subjects in the visual arts.  I am
using examples from _A Tramp Abroad_ (Titian's Venus, Miriam from the
Delaroche painting, and Lorelei, for example), but I am wondering if anyone
has in mind any other good examples.  I may also use some of his ideas
about art from _The Innocents Abroad_.

I probably have enough from these two works, but now I am curious ...
