I love this Forum and intrigue, so I find the Bailey thread interesting. I tend to go with authoritative research, but I'm keeping a teeny open-mindedness. My Ancestry.com just sent a "Possible Links" list to me, and one of the names is "Bilgewater." I'm so excited.
