We had the pleasure of seeing Hal as Twain twice at the Orpheum Theater in
Omaha, Nebraska.

I don't know if he said this on either of those occasions, but it stuck
with me: *"Why I've been Mark Twain longer than Mark Twain was Mark Twain."*
