***PLEASE DISTRIBUTE WIDELY***

UIT will be performing major network maintenance on Saturday, August 
29th,  4:00am-8:00am, affecting  network connectivity including WiFi and 
access to computing resources to and from York.

This outage is required to upgrade the campus network core to ensure 
capacity for the University’s rapidly growing number of networked 
devices, high-bandwidth and reliability needs.

Computing resources hosted in UIT’s data centres (e.g. the University's 
web site, Email, SIS applications, etc.) will remain running but will be 
inaccessible during this time.
