New Virus advisory: Be advised there is a new virus circulating this
morning which has spread quickly around the world and caused a large
volume of virus-carrying email.  As a temporary precaution, messages
will have certain executable attachments removed before they are
delivered to central York email accounts.  Remember never to open
unexpected attachments.  If in doubt, check with the sender first.
All attachments with the following extensions will be removed:
.exe
.bat
.pif
.scr
.com
.cmd

Windows Vulnerabilities: There are still a large number of systems within
York still vulnerable to the recent Microsoft security bulletins.  Please
ensure your systems are updated with the latest critical updates.  For
