Two new applications are now ready for use on the Phoenix systems.

LISREL can be used for estimating recursive and non-recursive structural
equation models, both with error-free data and, when there are multiple
indicators, with measurement error in exogenous and/or endogenous variables.
A companion program, PRELIS, calculates sample correlation and covariance
matrices and estimates asymptotic covariances. For more information and
instructions for running LISREL/PRELIS, type "man lisrel".

SIMSCRIPT is a programming language for building discrete/continuous
simulation models. Developing a SIMSCRIPT model typically involves preparing
a SIMSCRIPT source file using an editor, compiling the source file using the
"simc" command, linking the object files with the "simld" command, and then
executing the resulting program file. Complete documentation for SIMSCRIPT
