*** Attention dial-up modem users ***

This outage was scheduled for Monday, April 8th between 0600-0800 hours. However, the announcement
of this service interruption did not occur in time to notify the user community, therefore, it has
been re-scheduled.

There will be a service interruption affecting a portion of York's dial-up modem pools on Friday,
April 12th from 0600-0800 hours.  This interruption is necessary to upgrade the UPS's powering the
modems and associated terminal servers.

The affected services include;

1) 736-6002 general access pool
2) low-contention modem pool
3) private modem pool
4) Faculty of Education modem pool
5) onTRAC modem pool

The following services will be unaffected;

1) 736-5258 low speed pool
2) 736-6001 general access pool
