In an effort to further limit the amount of spam being handled by the
central email system (@yorku.ca), CNS has integrated DNSBL (DNS-based
blackhole lists) into the current spam filtering solution.  All emails
identified as spam by this mechanism will be rejected by the York email
system.  Legitimate email servers will return a mail delivery error
message to the sender.

In the event that a legitimate email gets rejected incorrectly, please
contact CNS Client Services at [log in to unmask] with the email address
the mail was destined for (the To: field), the email address of the
sender, the IP of the sender and the general time the email was sent (day
and hour is sufficient).
