In order to perform a necessary hardware upgrade for one of York's DNS 
servers, ns3.nic.yorku.ca, DNS service from this host will not be 
available between 7:30am to 8:00am on Tuesday, April 8th.  DNS servers are 
used by internet applications to convert host names to network IP 
addresses.  Users who have correctly configured their computers with the 
IP addresses of three DNS servers may experience minimal delays during 
this time.  Users who have configured their computers with only 
ns3.nic.yorku.ca as their DNS server will suffer a complete outage until 
service is restored.
