Internet access was restored at about 4:30 this afternoon. Telnet, ftp, WWW,
and gopher services are once again available to sites outside of York.
 
CCIS has checked all the UNIX systems we administer for signs of the
intruder and has changed the passwords on all accounts that might have been
comprimised. We will continue to monitor for any signs of further breakins.
 
We strongly recommend you change your passwords regularly.
