I think that all scientists of the world use the same methods. So I was  
suprised by the lecture of Mr. Young who wrote: "There was no  
economic science before the second half of the eighteenth century, for  
men thought of the natural economic order of society as resting upon  
principles that were non-economic."  
 
Also, in early messages on this tread I have read many tips about the  
origin of "economist" but none of these had made references to ancient  
texts. All uses very modern references of other modern thoughts.
