----------------- HES POSTING ----------------- Those of you attending the HES 2001 conference at Wake Forest University may want to know about a rich archival resource in the history of economics that is nearby. The Economists's Papers Project is a collection of the papers of more than 25 eminent twentieth-century economists, held in Duke University's Rare Books, Manuscripts, and Special Collections Library. Researchers who are interested in using the archive can read more at the website: http://scriptorium.lib.duke.edu/economists/ where there are also links to the online catalogues of several of the collections available. The Duke Special Collections Library has extended an invitation to researchers to use the materials during their visit to North Carolina. Because some of the papers are housed off- site, researchers planning to use the papers at Duke should contact the archive ahead of time to ensure that the material they want is ready for them!
