----------------- HES POSTING ----------------- Dear list subscriber, You may recall my earlier posting asking for information on lawsuits in which economists have appeared as defendants (see http://eh.net/Archives/hes/jan-2001/viewmessage.php?url=0021.html&list=hes). Unfortunately, the response I received was rather slim, but I have not given up yet. I will be visiting Duke in a few weeks and plan to search the archives there. Would you happen to have any inside information as to whether any of the economists listed below have been defendants in lawsuits? My search of Duke's database only turned up lawsuits in which they had appeared as expert witnesses. Of course, responses to my original query are still appreciated as well. Kenneth Arrow William J. Baumol Arthur I. Bloomfield Martin Bronfenbrenner Jesse Chickering Robert Clower Lauchlin Currie Paul Davidson Evsey D. Domar Frank W. Fetter Nicholas Georgescu-Roegen W. M. Gorman Earl J.
