For the past decade, Campaign 2000 has done a great job at documenting the
most influential determinant of health: income and social status.  Their
yearly report cards chart our progress across the country in addressing
child poverty and can be accessed via their website at www.campaign2000.ca

For international stats, UNICEF is a great source with such resources as A
League Table of Child Poverty in Rich Nations.  Their web site is
www.unicef-icdc.org
