We keep the images as digital in the format they are received in, and given a number exacltly like any of the physical ones. In the database, there is a link to them for viewing. I do not bother printing out any of these photos because I never physically search the photo holdings for a picture...always through the database.

How are Archives handling digital photographs which exist in that etheral format only? Are they given photo numbers and a print-out put in the archives?
I would like to hear from professional and volunteer Archivists to find out how these are being handled.
