----------------- HES POSTING ----------------- Dear Colleagues the Adam Smith Review This is to let you know that a multidisciplinary annual review on Adam Smith is being set up by the International Adam Smith Society. The Adam Smith Review aims to provide a unique forum for vigorous debate and the highest standards of scholarship on all aspects of Adam Smith's works, his place in history, and the significance of his writings for the modern world. The Review will be open to all strands of research on Adam Smith and will encourage debate between scholars working from different perspectives. Submissions to the Adam Smith Review are invited from any theoretical, disciplinary or interdisciplinary approach (max. 10,000 words). Contributors are asked to make their arguments accessible to a wide multidisciplinary readership without sacrificing high standards of argument and scholarship. It is planned that interdisciplinary articles will be sent to referees with different disciplinary expertise. Submitted articles will be double-blind refereed. Each issue of the Adam Smith Review will contain a multidisciplinary symposium. The topic of the symposium for the first issue is 'Contexts of Interpretation?'. Submissions are invited from any theoretical, disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspective (max. 3,500 words).
