Health Promotion Specialists Utilizing literature review and needs assessment skills, you will develop, implement and evaluate health promotion strategies, programs and policies. You will develop an annual workplan and budget. You will engage in applied research. Two positions are available. The first will engage in programming related to workplace health promotion as well as tobacco use prevention, while the second will focus primarily on tobacco use prevention. You have a Master's degree in health promotion, behavioural science or a related discipline couple with experience in health promotion and program planning, implementation and evaluation OR a Bachelor's degree in health sciences or equivalent coupled with experience in health promotion/communication, community mobilization, and policy development. Experience related to developing and implementing municipal by-laws is an asset. We offer a competitive salary ($48,798 - $55,452), excellent benefit package, and flexible work arrangement policies.
