Hi Barb, I don't know how many other people plan on writing a conclusion to "Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer Among the Indians," nor how many have done so in the past. But one thing I do know is that in order to know where Twain was going to go plotwise & what adventures he planned for his characters that one must at least understand both the 8.5 chapters & his working notes. The most important of those notes are found in "Our Wild Indians." Those notes reveal Twain's ideas, ideas which cannot be replicated via pure guesswork. Unless all of Twain's notes are carefully studied, how can anyone faithfully emulate Twain's ideas & purpose when writing the sequel? To my knowledge, only a precious few of those notes are recorded. What the Mark Twain Project has is the actual Paige proofs, & copies of the 8+ handwritten chapters (a few pages are missing). Cordially, Bob
