This month fans of Mark Twain’s letters will be able to get the next installment from the Mark Twain Project online. Fast on the heels of our print volume "Mark Twain’s Letters, Volume 6" the Mark Twain Project of UC Berkeley is issuing our first electronic publication: "Mark Twain’s Letters, 1876–1880: An Electronic Edition." This edition provides readers with unprecedented access to every known letter written by Mark Twain during this five-year span, one of his most productive and fascinating periods. Presented with all of Mark Twain’s revisions but without annotation and commentary, the more than 700 letters published here have been carefully transcribed and dated.
