----------------- HES POSTING ----------------- David Levy asked his class to 'name another book (apart from Kendall) in which the author's name has become part of the title'. A quick check in the library catalogue confirmed my memory. Catalogued under 'Benham, Frederic' is 'Benham's economics : a general introduction. 9th ed. [by] F.W. Paish and A.J. Culyer, 1973. Benham was a British textbook, probably unknown in the US but I believe popular in Africa and elsewhere. It was about the first economics book I read, since it was recommended to me (along with Samuelson) as an easy introduction before starting an economics course (in the early 1960s).
