----------------- HES POSTING ----------------- I have prepared and posted online an e-version of the edition of Roy Harrod's interwar papers and correspondence recently published by Elgar. The free-of-charge online version includes most of the materials in the book; some copyright holders, unfortunately, haven't given permission to post their materials on the web, but I have compensated by adding some bonus documents: transcription and abstracts of correspondence not included in the printed version, images of documents transcribed there and of other documents cited. Besides the obvious aim of making the collection widely available to scholars, I also wanted to (partially at least) bypass the "editor's dictatorship" consisting in the categorization of entries in the subject index. This is done by means of a search engine allowing readers to work out their own reading path. (The search engine also captures the documents I had to blank out for copyright reasons). I have also prepared a section called "later additions" where I am plannig to post any updates (I expect the publication of these papers will remind people of having seen letters to or from Harrod in obscure places ....) and any relevant comments from readers. The electronic edition can be reached via the Harrod home page, at http://economia.unipv.it/harrod Happy surfing.
