The 2005 Dorfman Award for the Best Dissertation in the history of economics goes to 
 
Kyu Sang Lee for "Rationality, minds and machines in the laboratory: A thematic  
history of Vernon Smith's experimental economics." 
 
Phil Mirowski was director for this Notre Dame dissertation. 
 
The committee was headed by David Levy and included Nicola Giocoli and Carl Wennerlind.
