This is a reminder that the deadline for nominations for the "Best Article in the History of Economics" is Dec 1st. The winner will receive a stipend of $500 plus travel expenses up to $500 to attend the presentation at the Society's annual conference (23-26 June 2006). Ultimately, the prize is only as valuable as the nominations, so please consider suggesting an article. Pdf files (preferable) or hard copies may be sent to me at the address below. Self-nominations are entirely acceptable. All articles published in 2005 are eligible. (Forthcoming articles, or articles in journals bearing a 2004 date but shipped after Jan 1, 2005 will also be considered.) To nominate an article, contact the 2005-06 chair of the committee, Spencer Banzhaf, at the address below by December 1, 2005. The full committee is: Spencer Banzhaf (chairman), Vincent Barnett, Alain Marciano, Leon Montes, and Michael White. Thank you for your participation. Sincerely, Spencer Banzhaf
