***** PLEASE DISTRIBUTE WIDELY ***** As previously announced, there will be a central email and phoenix outage from Friday February 10th at 8:00pm until Sunday February 12th at 10:00am. The purpose of this outage is to upgrade staff and faculty email accounts to a new server. Email sent to York addresses during the outage will be queued until after the outage. Students will not have to modify their mail reader settings, and will be able to send email during the outage - mail sent to York email addresses will be queued. Please note the following changes and modifications for staff and faculty which will be in effect after the outage: Users of http://webmail.yorku.ca should now go to https://mymail.yorku.ca No other changes are required. If you use Lotus Notes, no changes are necessary. During the outage, Lotus Notes mail will work except that mail sent to Notes accounts from sources external to Notes will not be received until the end of the outage. Users of unix pine will have to log in twice - first to the shell account and then to mail, and all folder names will be followed with [.}; please contact [log in to unmask] if you have any other issues.
