In regard to John Bird's remark on the subject of Ann Coulter's questionable
sanity (with which I entirely agree, of course), it might be pertinent to
recall one of Twain's own remarks, from Christian Science: "All Democrats
are insane, but not one of them knows it; none but the Republicans and
Mugwumps know it.  All the Republicans are insane, but only the Democrats
and Mugwumps can perceive it."  Thanks to John for keeping the Mugwump
tradition alive.  Too bad commentators like Coulter don't really have
Twain's sort of perspective.
