Am I the only one who finds it curious that the Econ fallacies thread, appearing as it does on HES-List, involves no historical evidence or historical reasoning? E. Roy Weintraub No, Roy, you are not the only one. I have rejected a few messages with suggestions that we stay within the bounds of the History of Economics, broadly defined. Your message gives me an opportunity to remind everyone of our bounds. However, it looks like we all like to talk and I knew the "Econ fallacies" question would set off a lot comment. This is not a bad thing since we are a discussion list and when we go off on these tangents, we do get new contributors. I ask those who are sending messages to self-censor and those receiving them to remember that the delete key is a few inches away. I suppose, like a good umpire or referee, if everyone is upset at me, then I'm doing a good job. You're over-worked moderator, Humberto Barreto
