I just came across a reference to a Mark Twain biography by Archibald Henderson written in 1910, apparently the first ever. I never heard of this book or author, a distinguished mathametics professor at Chapel Hill, who's also a major biographer of George B, Shaw. Nor have I ever seen this in a bibliography or reference from Paine to DeVoto to Kaplan, Powers et al. Can anyone tell me why he's been iced out? The book can be read online at http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/6873. Thanks for any enlightenment. Jerry
