Please be advised that there is a known CRITICAL vulnerability in Windows
2000, XP, and 2003. This is the type of vulnerability which is likely to
be incorporated into a future network virus/worm. Microsoft has released a
patch to correct the problem, and it is highly recommended that the patch
is applied to all systems immediately.

University supported systems will be handled by local technical support
groups. Home PCs and other unsupported systems should follow the windows
update procedure below to apply the patch.
