I am not aware of Thomas Edison recording Twain; however, Twain bought an Edison phonograph and tried making dictation recordings with the machine. In a letter to Howells, Twain said that he had made several cylinders of notes on the machine, but in the end it was easier to use a pen. No one seems to know what ever became of these recordings....sigh.... Stay Well RD
