Dear Colleagues,

An article on Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and health promotion appears in the November 2006 Bulletin of the WHO.  Available online at:  http://www.who.int/bulletin/volumes/84/11/06-030965.pdf .

Hopefully this resource - along with all the great work being done by many in the field - will help advance the use of HIA for healthy public policy (or Health in All Policies) at all jurisdictional levels in Canada and internationally.  A nice way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion, don't you think?

Regards,
Karen
