Please join the Metropolitan Washington Public Health Association (MWPHA) on April 16, 2007 from 8am-4pm for our annual conference, "Community Health Workers: Where we Live, Work & Play" in Washington, DC.

This year's conference will focus on workforce development issues that surround access to health care at the local and national level, specifically that of community health workers. The all-day conference will provide the opportunity to talk with and learn from community health workers (CHWs) who represent the health care safety net of the metropolitan DC area. The conference will include roundtable and panel discussions on innovative CHW programs as well as poster presentations from health professions students.
